Did you skate growing up? Yes, I come from a country covered with ice so it's not even optional. I played this game called ringette. It's really cool, a lot like ice hockey but different.
What got you into roller derby? I went to rugby tryouts and there were a few derby girls who told me that roller derby is a bit like rugby, but you get to skate.
What would you request for your last meal? Vegan stroganoff and laskiaispulla
What’s your favourite book/movie/TV show? Doctor Who! Star Wars! Also, I love so many books. Just ask me and I'll never shut up.
What is the worst injury you ever suffered outside of derby? I broke my wrist while snowboarding.
Who is your sporting idol and why? Lil' Slinky from Stockholm! She's a super fancy skater but I'm most impressed by her amazing attitude and drive. It's impossible not to love skating if you train with her. She's also the only person in the world who can get me excited about off-skates training...
How do you stay fit? I jump, run, and lift heavy things.
What’s your favourite derby move? Getting all the points.
What is difficult about derby? It destroys my academic ambitions.
What is the best thing about derby? Skating makes me happy.
What are your hobbies? Reading, making stupid crafts and having imaginary conversations.
Do you play any sport other than derby? I wish!

Every week you will be able to find out a bit more about your favourite skaters and referees. If you would like to send a message of support or ask them questions head over to the CRDL Facebook page and ask away. Stay tuned...
